A co-fermentation of 60% Syrah from the Gers and 40% Cabernet Franc from Sigoulès, both fermented carbonically for two weeks before being blended at the press. The Syrah, grown on loamy-limestone soils, brings juicy, dark fruit and freshness, while the Cabernet Franc, from clay-limestone outcrops, adds structure and lift.
Despite a cool, wet vintage with low yields, the wine shows remarkable balance — supple yet vibrant, with pure fruit, gentle spice, and a savoury, stony finish that reflects its mixed origins. A fluid, expressive red that captures the Hors les Mûres spirit: honest, lively, and rooted in the character of its growers and terroirs.
