Alberto Lot

Alberto is a second-generation farmer whose family has long cultivated vines. After studying ancient literature, he followed his lifelong fascination for vineyards and wine, creating his own project — today balancing life as a teacher on a tractor, splitting his time between the classroom and the cellar.

His vineyards lie at the foot of the Cansiglio forest, on the border of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto. One site is rooted in calcareous clay, the other in a layer of black peat over gravel and sand.
From these soils he produces expressive natural sparkling wines, with his first red wines expected in 2026.
