Gaillac — France
Jérôme Galaup
The Galaup family has treasured winemaking for decades. Jérôme Galaup is the fourth generation and has brought new energy to the tradition since taking over the estate in 2017. Prior to this, he refined his skills at the Plageoles estate, connecting Robert, the guardian of indigenous grapes, with Bernard and his sons.
Located on the edge of the Grésigne forest in the Tarn region, “La Ferme du Vert” (The Green Farm) reflects a blend of deep-rooted heritage and modern spirit. Here, Jérôme cultivates seven hectares of Gaillac grape varieties, producing wines that are a true expression of the historic terroir. His blend of traditional farming wisdom and innovative winemaking results in distinctive wines that captivate and impress.
Jérôme’s commitment to authenticity and his bold approach to winemaking create wines that uniquely merge heritage with contemporary flair, showcasing his passion and personality.
