Leah Anglès

Leah Anglès

Leah Anglès, a young winemaker, began her career at Domaine Coume Del Mas before creating her first vintage in 2018. She was able to lease and purchase some vineyard plots and now cultivates 5.5 hectares of Syrah, Grenache Noir, and Carignan in Collioure and Cerbère, working entirely by hand on steep, rugged terrain. Leah uses natural methods (no additives or yeast) and produces four wines: Opa, Eléphant Blanc, Divay, and Pilgrim.

The names of her wines hold personal significance: "Opa" is a tribute to her German grandfather, "Divay" honors her grandmother, with the name meaning "wine" in Malagasy, "Eléphant Blanc" refers to her grandparents' decoration store and the sacred albino elephant of India, and "Pilgrim" comes from a vineyard located on the Saint James' Way (Camino de Santiago).
