Domaine l'Encantade
Domaine l'Encantade is located on a plateau at 400-600 meters altitude between the Pyrénées mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The vines are planted in rocky granite soils, which helps Antoine create fresh-style wines despite the region's warmth. In addition to the vineyards, the estate features many small oak trees, which attract a population of wild boars. Among these, Antoine has a special pig named Joséphine, adding a unique charm to the estate.
The estate grows a variety of grapes, including Carignan noir, gris, and blanc, Lledoner Pelut, Grenache gris and noir, Macabeu, Muscat d'Alexandrie, and Syrah. Antoine is committed to achieving true terroir expression by ensuring the grapes are in optimal health and following a rigorous, respectful approach to the plants and soils to avoid using additives in the cellar.
