Reynald Héaulé

Reynald Héaulé began in accounting before transitioning to winemaking, gaining experience in Burgundy, the Loire, and with Claude Courtois in Sologne. In 2000, he rented 0.3 hectares of vineyards, gradually expanding to 3.5 hectares. He farms organically, cultivating 15 grape varieties in densely planted vineyards. His soils vary from silica and sand to clay and limestone.

Reynald uses minimal sulfites (5-10mg/L), an old vertical press, and ages wines in demi-muid barrels for 30 months. His wines, known for their complexity, are mainly available in Japan and Denmark.
