Crafted from low-yield Merlot grown on alluvial terraces, but it’s far from your typical Merlot.

Vinification: Hand-harvested around August 25, the Merlot undergoes vinification in open vats after being destemmed, but without crushing. The maceration lasts around 8 days with minimal punch-downs. Aging in tanks preserves the wine's fruit character, and bottling takes place the following spring, without fining, using gravity, and without filtration.

Tasting Notes: With its deep garnet hue, the nose offers fresh Merlot notes and vibrant red fruit. On the palate, it’s unexpectedly fresh and lively, breaking away from the usual Merlot profile. Its round, smooth mouthfeel is backed by a delightful tannic structure, with flavors of red berries, bell pepper, and blackcurrant.
