Claude Courtois, a pioneer and icon of natural winemaking, embodies an uncompromising and authentic approach. Racines, available in both red and white, 2018 is the final cuvée produced by Claude, with the rest of the range now crafted by his son Etienne.(starting from 2019)

The Racines Rouge is a unique blend of numerous grape varieties, including Côt, Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gascon, and Pinot Noir. Aged for two and a half years in wood, with no sulphur added, this wine is deeply expressive and built to age gracefully.

Its layered profile reveals dark fruit, subtle spices, and earthy undertones, underpinned by a vibrant structure and refined tannins.
