Miñañas is Esmeralda’s cru, born from a tiny single parcel of ancient, pre-phylloxera vines, still on their own roots and averaging an incredible 220 years of age. With just 500 bottles produced each year, it is one of her most rare and personal wines.
The grapes are fully destemmed and briefly macerated in 600L chestnut barrels before being pressed into Spanish clay amphorae, where the wine spontaneously ferments and rests for eight months.
