A Rivesaltes Grenat from an old parcel of Grenache Noir on the schist slopes of Latour de France. Harvested in early October when the grapes are partially candied, it reveals intense aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, and cherry. Vinified with frequent punch-downs and fortified on the skins, it retains the full power of the variety. Aged in tank to preserve its vibrant fruit, it strikes a balance between firm tannins and the softness of residual sugar. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with duck breast and figs.
