A blend of 50% Sémillon, 30% Sauvignon Gris, 15% Petit Manseng, and 5% Chenin. The terroir consists of clay, flint clay, and clay-limestone soils. The Sémillon grapes are partially harvested when passerillé and botrytized, then pressed slowly. The Sauvignon Gris undergoes 3 weeks of carbonic maceration, while the Petit Manseng is destemmed and also macerated for 3 weeks. The Chenin from 2022 is aged oxidatively. The wine is blended and aged for 8 months in concrete tanks, retaining about 10 grams of residual sugar. The macerations contribute energy, while the oxidative Chenin adds tension, resulting in an electric wine!
