Turi Vermouth (Rosso) is a uniquely crafted red vermouth made from white Catarratto grapes. The winemaker begins by producing a white wine using these grapes, then uses 75% of this base wine to create the vermouth. After fermentation, a blend of Artemisia and a selection of herbs—including wild thyme, rhubarb, cinchona, and orange—are added, along with caramel to darken the final product, giving it its distinctive red hue. Distilled in Italy, this vermouth is dangerously drinkable, boasting an incredible array of spices that tantalize the palate. We love to enjoy it pure, with a couple of ice cubes and a slice of orange, but it’s also incredible for mixing into cocktails. Just remember to pace yourself—it’s easy to finish the bottle in one sitting!
