A skin-contact Xarel·lo inspired by the traditional home-made wines once found across Penedès, reimagined with the precision of a modern cellar. Fermented on the skins with part of the stems, it gains a gentle tannic and herbal structure that frames its freshness. The 2022 vintage, shaped by cooler weather, shows a lighter touch — less alcohol, more acidity — and a clean, savoury balance that speaks of both heritage and refinement.
Wine style: Orange (actually more gold than orange)
Vineyard: Álvaro González, Sant Joan Samora ,150 m a.s.l., 60 year old, gobelet.
Soils: clay-loam, calcareous
Winemaking: Destemmed and crushed (35% of stems). Skin maceration for 12 days with static cap. Fermented in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 5 months in stainless steel and old500L barrels. 11,5% alc. No SO2 added
