La Grapperie
Renaud Guettier, an agro-engineer turned winemaker, embarked on his vinous journey in 2004 by acquiring his first hectare of vines in the Coteaux du Loir in the Loire Valley. His estate has since expanded to 4.6 hectares, with vines averaging around 70 years old.
Renaud cultivates Chenin Blanc and Pineau d'Aunis using traditional, hand-driven methods, with grapes transported to the cellar by horse. His winemaking is characterized by gentle pressings and extended aging, with some wines maturing in barrels for up to 60 months, adding depth and complexity to each bottle.
