La Vi y Soñé 2020
La Vi y Soñé is an exceptional white wine from Bodega Barranco Oscuro in the Contraviesa region of Granada, Spain. Made from Viognier grapes grown at high altitudes on schist and clay soils, the wine is produced using ecological practices without official certification. The grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and the wine is aged for one year in used oak barrels, without clarification and no additives.
On the nose, it presents complex aromas of glue, concentrated apple juice, dry hay, and a hint of orange. The palate is vibrant with notes of lemon peel, green pear, yellow apple, mandarin, dry herbs, and currants, leading to a long, evolving finish. A slight alcohol warmth and fresh acidity from grapefruit and lemon make this a distinctive, rare wine, highly recommended for tasting.
