La Traviesa is the name of the négociant business run by Barranco Oscuro, with wines vinified at the family-owned Valenzuela premises. The wines under this name are made from grapes sourced from vineyards in the Sierra de La Contraviesa mountain range. As these wines are made from the Appellation, the name of the region, "La Contraviesa," cannot be stated on the label. Instead, the wines are called "La Traviesa," which means "Naughty." The label image is inspired by the old film Naughty Marietta. La Traviesa Tinto is a light, fresh, fruity, and delicately crisp natural wine made with 100% Garnacha grapes.
