The vines grow on a very special and unique side in Iphofen

called Sparrnbach. You can call it our monopoly side - because we are

the only ones who are allowed to grow vines there.

We re-cultivated this beautiful area 5 years ago. The soil is even greater

- very stony and a mixture of shelly limestone and Keuper.

Pressed on the old basket press and fermented in small barrels.

We kept the Chardonnay 20 months on the lees in the barrels to let him

develop his full potential.
