Sourced from fine sand and sandstone soils, Michika is part of a limited production experiment focused on flor ageing. A small portion of wine from Vayuste is aged for an additional year in old Sherry casks, where a thin layer of flor forms, adding complexity. The result is a wine with a lovely texture and sapidity, where elegant fruit notes blend seamlessly with delicate nutty nuances. It finishes with a savory, mineral edge, making it a unique and intriguing expression of the terroir.
