A bold experiment in flor ageing, Michiko is crafted entirely from grapes grown at the El Carrascal site, known for its sandy, gravelly soils. Following the vinification process used for the mono-parcel wines, it undergoes an additional year of ageing in old Sherry casks, developing remarkable complexity. The result is a robust and intricate wine, with vibrant citrus flavors intertwined with enticing spices and subtle oxidative hints. The saline finish is long and memorable, showcasing the depth and character of this limited-production cuvée.
