Côte de Brouilly AOP Rouge 2023
Since 2020, there had been a longing to revisit the Côte de Brouilly cuvée, and in 2023, the opportunity came once again. The grapes were harvested from the lieu-dit La Poyebade, a wild and untamed vineyard on the western side of Mont Brouilly, perched at an impressive altitude of 370 meters. This site, within the Côte de Brouilly appellation, benefits from afternoon sun only, creating a unique balance of ripeness and freshness in the grapes. After nearly two weeks of maceration, the wine was pressed and aged for 10 months in used Burgundy barrels.
This cuvée is limited to just 2,080 bottles.
