Francois Blanchard
François Blanchard carries forward a rich legacy as the fifth generation of his family tending the vineyards of Château du Perron in Lémeré. His journey began in music, where he toured France as a jazz musician, but in 2003, he embraced winemaking, finding profound tranquility and freedom in the vineyard. Managing four hectares of vines amid twenty hectares of wild land, François practices organic and permaculture principles, cultivating biodiversity and sustainability.
His creative spirit shines in the cellar, where he produces wines of remarkable depth and complexity. Outside of winemaking, François is equally passionate about music, Aikido, baking bread, and brewing organic lambic beer, all of which reflect his vibrant, multifaceted approach to life.
